Watch out ESPN; Even more eSports coming to TwitchTV

The worlds largest video game broadcasting community TwitchTV — home to a whole slew of great Destructoid shows — announced today a partnership to bring even more of the rapidly growing eSports sensation to its network.

Joining forces with the Electronic Sports League — Europe’s largest eSports league with over 3 million members and 740,00 registered teams — and Team Dignitas, a highly touted player in the world of competitive gaming should help solidify TwitchTV’s spot as the place to watch eSports.

Whatever your opinion is about eSports legitimacy in the world of gaming and competitive sports, having more positive spotlights on video games is always a good thing. This classic moment here — still gives me goosebumps — is what sold me personally. Now I just wonder how long it will be before they start testing for massive energy drink consumption on players prior to tournaments.
