The NPD group says that Nintendo moved more than 1.75 million hardware units in November. The power of Black Friday pushed 910,000 portable systems and 845,000 home consoles into shopping bags last month.

The breakdown shows that the Wii U moved 425,000 units in 7 days. New Super Mario Bros. U sold 243,000 copies, making for an attach rate of about 60 percent. The Wii did almost as well, moving 420,000 systems. The 3DS is rounding the 6.5 million units mark, too.

Nintendo says that last month was the 36th time they’ve sold more than one million hardware units in one month since 2004.
