EA confirmed that their next Lord of the Rings RPG, White Council, will be “on hold” for the time being. Well, sorry to break it to you LOTR fans but this one is canceled. I just so happen to have a “friend” on the inside who deals with this sort of stuff and he/she mentioned to me recently that the game was canceled — in fact we reported as much in January.
I never bothered to mention this, because 1) I never cared and 2) The source talked about it like it was common knowledge. Either way, go ahead and put White Council next to Starcraft: Ghost. Now, go play Lord of the Rings Online or something.
