Rev3 takes XCOM to the office, needs their own sitcom

Recommended Videos

It’s very difficult to get someone with a predisposition towards ignoring certain types of games to garner any interest in them. That’s how I am with XCOM. Everything about it tells my brain “this is not for you.”

That’s why I’m so amazed with this video from Rev3 Games. They managed to cut through the cold, icy walls of my XCOM-dismissing frontal lobe and made me feel something about this franchise. That’s no easy trick, especially for an old jerk like me who’s pretty set in his ways.

It doesn’t hurt that I’m real life pals with Zac Minor, Tara Long, Anthony Carboni, and Max Scoville, but just because you like people doesn’t mean you’re going to like all their videos. In fact, I couldn’t watch the Dtoid show for months after Max started hosting out of intense envy for his fantastic hair.

Personal feelings aside, I hope this isn’t the last we see of this format from Rev3. It would be pretty rad to see Max running around the Rev3 offices in a Dishonored mask and hood, taking shots at George Anthony Carboni Washington.
