Obsidian’s Project Eternity meets its target in 24 hours

So yesterday, we reported on noted RPG developer Obsidian’s Kickstarter project; a new, isometric RPG named Project Eternity. In a complete non-surprise to everyone, the project has reached its $1,110,000 goal in just over 24 hours.

It’s been interesting to see the likes of Obsidian, Double Fine and inXile cash in on the goodwill (and money) of their fans. Again, it’s no guarantee of a quality game in the end, but if you want someone to make a decent isometric RPG, Obsidian is a good choice.

To be honest, I’d like to see Obsidian spend the money on a squashing those pesky bugs that tend to drag their games down. Rotating heads aren’t cool.
