La Pucelle: Tactics is heading to the PSN this week

I first heard of this news a few days ago, but I held off on posting it until I could get more concrete information. Thankfully, it looks like the internet rumblings have been correct, as La Pucelle: Tactics is going to be a PS2 Classic as of this week!

La Pucelle was one of the earliest strategy RPGs NIS ever developed (after the wonderful Rhapsody trilogy) — it even pre-dates the Disgaea series! As an SRPG fan, I consider this “required reading,” as it marries a fairly charming set of characters with solid strategic gameplay.

Note, however, that for the North American region, this might be a 1:1 conversion of the Mastiff published version which includes a heavy-handed amount of censorship — a battle NIS could not afford to fight at the time, seeing as they were such a small developer.
