New screens and video for Starhawk look sci-fi western-y

Above you’ll find a newly released video for the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive third-person shooter Starhawk, which is taken directly from the single player, a mode lacking from 2007’s Warhawk. LightBox Interactive hired Powerhouse Animation to do the awesome cut scenes that will tell the story through an “animated ‘wanted’ poster style, punctuated with Rift Energy,” which segues very nicely into the playable sections of the game.

Starhawk is scheduled for a 2012 release, so there is a batch of concept art and screens included in the gallery below to help tide you over.
