I’ll admit, sports are something that I don’t know anything about. So I asked my girlfriend about this trailer for FIFA 12. It felt rather emasculating, but this is how dedicated I am to achieving proper journalism levels. She told me that when it comes to soccer (or football, for you non-Americans), Manchester City is not the same thing as Manchester United. I also learned that if you walk around in Europe with a British accent saying “Yeah, Manchester United,” you can get into events for free. True story.
Now that I know everything there is to know about soccer, I feel confident enough to tell you that you can wear the newest uniforms of the Manchester City Football Club in FIFA 12 thanks to a virtual launch kit. To me, they just look like regular soccer uniforms, but I know the die-hards might actually care about this. Do you? All the cool kids do.
