iOS users buying 61% more apps

According to a new report from a writer of reports who writes reports to report things, iOS users are purchasing 61% more apps compared to last year. 

Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster brought the news, which sees an increase in app purchases despite the average price of iOS software rising 14%. The moral of the story is that iOS apps are pretty damn popular, and who are we to argue?

iOS is growing quickly as a valid gaming destination. While many still resist the platform and write off mobile gaming, many others have embraced the concept, with titles like Infinity Blade helping to create a credible game market. Seems the general population is noticing.
