Ubisoft confirms the Wii U box art design

A number of Ubisoft Wii U box art pictures have been floating around the web the past few days from Amazon and Target.com, and many people have been doubting the authenticity of them. Thankfully, GameTrailers has gotten to the bottom of the mystery, as an Ubisoft PR rep confirmed to them that the box art “is too legit to quit.”

What’s interesting to note is that the new logo has gone back to Nintendo’s GameCube box art design, and has moved away from the Wii’s “top right corner” console logo. It’s not a huge change, but it’s a change nontheless.

Well there you have it, folks — come this Holiday season, you can oogle at a stunning combination of white, blue, and yellow. Oh yea, and play Nintendo games in HD for the first time ever.
