‘Suda 51’s Sdatcher’ announced by Kojima without typos

After teasing us with a surprise Snatcher-related announcement to be the revealed on the new Hideradio podcast, Hideo Kojima has announced “Sdatcher” — an original radio drama written by Suda 51. It’s Snatcher meets Suda 51. Get it? Sdatcher. For what it’s worth, you’re supposed to pronounce it as “Sudatcha” and not “stature.”

Besides Suda 51 penning this auditory collage of shattered dreams, Famitsu states Kojima will be its planner and director while Grasshopper’s Manufacture’s Akira Yamaoka will be supplying a healthy dose of music so you don’t fall asleep. The three talented people will be releasing “Sdatcher” as a part of the tercentenary broadcast of Hideradio, which is four episodes away from today’s one.

In case you were hoping that “Project S” — which Kojima and Suda 51 alluded to during Grasshopper Manufacture’s “Hopper’s Vol.2: Snake vs Zombie” event in 2007 — was a potential new Snatcher game; it wasn’t. It was a radio drama.
