Learn everything there is to learn about Nick Arcade

Nick Arcade was one of my favorite game shows of all time. I still remember face-palming at how bad the kids were at pretty much all of the arcade games on offer, but most of all, I remember that totally amazing finale segment, and how jealous I was of every kid who got to play it.

Well, now you can relive the glory days, in this incredibly in-depth article that highlights the two geniuses behind the whole operation: James Bethea and Karim Miteff.

There’s some pretty great tidbits in the piece, like the fact that they visited Jon Favreau on the set of Iron Man 2, and chuckled at how they had already created the largest blue screen ever used in film years before, on the humble Nick Arcade set.

Although it makes me feel a little better knowing how it all works, I still want to play it.
