Nyko’s Zoom for Kinect out August 23, small rooms welcome

Folks with small gaming rooms rejoice! Nyko has the answer with its Zoom peripheral for Kinect. This brilliant little peripheral clips over the Kinect sensor, and let’s you play Kinect games using “40% less space,” per Nyko’s calculations.

Dale had a chance to check it out at E3 and seemed impressed. He “found that there’s no performance hit at all,” and even said he had no issues using it to play “Microsoft’s silly Kinect Adventures.”

Nyko’s given a firm release date for the peripheral today: August 23. It’ll run you $29.99, and you’ll probably want it if you’re going to jam out to some two player Dance Central 2. Just don’t, you know, kick your TV in its stupid TV face or something.
