La-Mulana remake finally hitting PC next week

Recommended Videos

If absolutely nothing else, you’ve got to give props to Nigoro for being persistent. The WiiWare version of La-Mulana may not have left Japan as originally intended, but we are finally getting the remake on PC, and soon: it’s launching Friday, July 13 on Playism. This is happening for real, folks! I can hardly believe it.

So, what’s Playism? It’s a Japanese digital distribution platform that is, not coincidentally, going to have a separate English-language site next Friday; La-Mulana is just one of the debut games. Among the indie titles listed are some you’ll surely recognize and a few you probably won’t.

I hope Playism can introduce us to great Japanese games we wouldn’t have necessarily come across otherwise. Now, excuse me while I go scrounge up $14.99 for La-Mulana.
