Weekend reading: BioShock: Rapture novel excerpt

Recommended Videos

BioShock: Rapture, the prequel to Irrational Games’ BioShock, is out July 19. It’s not a game, though, it’s a novel. Fun fact: Rapture is written by John Shirley, who wrote the the 1994 film, The Crow.

Is it any good? Not sure yet, as I’m about to read an excerpt from the novel right now. You can, too — publisher Tor Books has put it online for your reading pleasure. Unless you totally think it’s crap, then it’s like a 10-minute-long nightmare or something, depending on how fast you can read.

Read it and then discuss in the comments, would you kindly?
