Suda speaks part 1: No More Heroes 2 retrospective

Recommended Videos

Please forgive my extreme excitement and nervousness in this interview series. Suda51 is one of my all-time favorite game developers. I had some trouble staying sane while talking to him, but hopefully I pulled it off.

I knew that eventually we’d end up talking about the Wii U, and his upcoming title Shadows of the Damned. First off, there were some things I just had to ask about No More Heroes 2. There is some stuff here that Suda has never talked about before, so die hard fans had better tune in.

We also get into the meaning of the relationship between Travis and Sylvia, confirmation that a battle against Shinobu was once planned for No More Heroes 2, and a bunch of other stuff that probably sounds like moon-speak to people not familiar with the No More Heroes games. If that’s you, sorry!

For the rest of you, enjoy!
