I havenāt had much of a chance to breathe yet after this morningās surprise drop of Grand Theft Auto 6ās second trailer, but Iām already fiending for more info about the game and its characters.
A GTA gameās supporting cast is just as important, if not even more so, than the main characters you take control of. Rockstar Games always adds the most interesting, colorful, silly, and memorable characters to the franchise, and GTA 6 sounds like more of the same, and thatās fine by me.

For every Tommy Vercetti, there is a Lance Vance, and for every Niko Bellic, there is a Little Jacob. So while the attention is largely on Jason and Lucia, the gameās Bonnie and Clyde-like protagonist duo, I wanna know more about those around them, and the gameās official website is full of teasers that has me ecstatic.
For example, Jasonās friend and celeb chef Matty Matheson lookalike, Cal Hampton. Good olā Cal here is a conspiracy theorist whoās quoted as saying, āthere are way too many birds flying around in perfect formation,ā which makes him sound like a perfect lampoon for his real-life counterparts who think everything is fake and part of a simulation. Cal āfeels safest hanging at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open,ā according to his description on the GTA 6 website.
On the more serious side of things, thereās Boobie Ike, āa local Vice City legendā who is āone of the few to transform his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio,ā Rockstar says āBoobieās all smiles until itās time to talk business.ā
Boobie has a partnership with a āyoung aspiring music mogulā named DreāQuan Priest, who āwas always more of a hustler than a gangster,ā and is trying to make it big in the industry by signing young musicians like Real Dimez, a rap duo comprised of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, described as āgirls with the savvy to turn their time shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash via spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence.ā
When the music business turns into a bit more than rhymes and Dimez, thereās Raul Batista, āa seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards.ā
And thereās no GTA without some drugs to go along with the crime and money, which is where Brian Heder comes in, āa classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys.ā Main character Jason is working for Brian, doing his dirty work in exchange for living rent-free at one of his properties.
All of these characters sound like classic GTA, as in they are caricatures of real-life people who are meant to expand and enrich the story as foils for Jason and Lucia. And I genuinely canāt wait to meet all of them.

For now, browsing the GTA 6 website to read about the cast is as good as itās going to get until the game finally releases on May 26, 2026.
