Spec Ops: The Line hit with another delay

Recommended Videos

Just the other day I was wondering where Spec Ops: The Line went. It had a decent enough premise despite what its off-putting name might initially suggest, but after a couple of public showings, we’ve heard very little from 2K Games and Yager.

The game is going to need more development time, it seems. Take-Two’s financial results for fiscal 2011 have an updated listing for Spec Ops, putting its release during the first half of fiscal 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. We won’t get to play it until after March 31, 2012, now.

I’m fine with that, considering what the foreseeable future is looking like for shooters.
