Videogame-inspired gas masks? Now I’ve seen everything!

Brian Cargile is another talented young artist with an extreeeeemely specific area of expertise. As you can see, he specializes in masks: gas masks, goggles, full face masks, you name it. As a one-man costume design house called TwoHornsUnited, he sells these bizarre creations for upwards of $280 a pop. That may sound like a hefty chunk of change, but hey, the goods are moving, so he must be doing something right!

Though the bulk of his masks — which you can check out on his deviantART and Facebook pages — are original designs, Brian likes to draw inspiration from videogames now and then. Below, you will find his Pokeball and Hylian masks, as well as the big poppa, the Portal Gun mask. The latter is certainly among the more inventive interpretations of the iconic weapon.

If you happen to be attending METROCON in Tampa this June, Brian will be selling the Zelda and Portal masks there. In the meanwhile, gaze upon the gallery in wonder!
