Weekend PC download deals: EA Classics, MW3, and Crysis

Recommended Videos

There’s not a lot on offer this weekend from GOG.com, but there’s some big-name software in its EA Guns and Spells promotion. Syndicate, Magic Carpet and both Crusader games are cut down by 50%, all reduced to $2.99. It’s great seeing these older titles still available especially if you’re keen to revisit what Peter Molyneux did back in the day.

GamersGate has a glut of offers, the most eye-catching of which is a 50% reduction on the whole Crysis franchise, including the original Crysis Maximum Edition. Origin continues to make finding games on sale a real challenge but many of you, like me, would have received a £10 voucher via email earlier in the week, so now may be a good time to take advantage of that.

Steam only has the one weekend offer and it’s 33% off Modern Warfare 3, which is also free to play this weekend until 1:00pm Pacific on Sunday. I would’ve thought that you would all know whether MW3 multiplayer is your thing or not by now, however, playing for free is always the best way to find out. Thanks for all the comments each week on these posts, you guys are finding some real gems out there on the web. Keep ’em coming.
