And it can only be found in Blizzard’s own backyard of Irvine, California. The Irvine Spectrum Mall’s GameStop, to be more specific. Staff of the Diablo III development team and Blizzard Executives will be bringing along with them tons of giveaways, special prizes for the first in line, laser-etched PCs from Intel, and lots of permanent markers for signing all those copies of the game.
Sounds pretty sweet for people who are close to the only US launch event. Seriously, I looked up the population of that city and it’s only just over 200,000 people. Does anyone even live near there? Anyway, if you live really far away (like out of the country far), there are events in the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Poland, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan. But Blizzard could only be bothered with just one official event in the US.
Maybe Blizzard doesn’t like us because their fan base here is so mean. They’re quite demanding these days. So, is there anyone out there who will actually make it to Irvine, CA for this?
