HL2: Episode Two delayed again to much groaning and gnashing of teeth

Computerandvideogames.com spoke to Valve’s Doug Lombardi earlier today, and the news was grim. The second episodic expansion for multiple Game Of The Year award winner Half-Life 2 has been delayed yet again.

Originally scheduled to appear on PC’s all over the world for the 2006 holiday season, it was bumped back to early 2007 only a short time ago. As of the announcement today, it is now scheduled for a vague “Summer 2007” release.

We appreciate Valve’s desire to make sure that their game (which includes the amazingly rad Portal and Team Fortress 2) is as polished as it can possibly be, but who do they think they are? Blizzard
