Resident Evil Mercenaries VS. released on iOS

Resident Evil‘s “The Mercenaries” mode is now even more handheld as Capcom has launched Resident Evil Mercenaries VS. on the Apple app store. It’s $2.99 for a promotional period, so if you want to check it out you should probably get on it sooner rather than later.

The fellows over at Touch Arcade don’t seem too impressed by it though, noting that it looks like crap and that the multiplayer gameplay doesn’t really suit the Resident Evil style of play. I guess it will have to depend on how much you like Mercenaries, and if you want to play it as a 2 vs. 2 mode online.
