This Play Arts Kai Solidus Snake can have all of my money

Metal Gear Solid director Hideo Kojima has revealed a fully painted version of the Solid Snake figure that will arrive as part of Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai line. The imposing figure features Metal Gear Solid 2‘s primary antagonist in his tentacle suit, looking every bit the ass-kicking ex-president.

He’ll have his two swords and his P90 firearms, though we’re not yet sure how much articulation there’ll be. What we can be sure of is that Square Enix has all of my money on this one. All of it.

Solidus Snake is perhaps my favorite videogame villain — a man with a very noble, almost heroic goal, but a tendency to complete his aims in the most monstrous of ways. He’s a really nasty piece of work, but his black heart is, perversely, in the right place. Always been fascinated by the guy, and I’m glad to see him done justice in this figure.
