As announced today, Capcom has partnered with Slant Six Games (most recently known for SOCOM: Confrontation) on its latest Resident Evil title, Operation Raccoon City.
It’s a third-person, team-based shooter which retells the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3, this time from the perspective of the Umbrella Security Service forces. We know that Leon Kennedy will make an appearance; he’s on your hit list, so maybe you’ll be able to take him down. That’d be neat, eh?
Multiplayer has also been teased. Expect competitive multiplayer modes where it’s a hectic three-way fight between Umbrella, the US Spec Ops, and zombies plus Bio-Organic Weapons.
Operation Raccoon City will be out this winter on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
