Project Umbrella recently interviewed video game writer Yasuhisa Kawamura, who worked on Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, among a number of other non-Capcom titles like El Shaddai. Despite the fact that the interview is RE3-centric, they did glean a few bits of information regarding the early “Hook Man” version of Resident Evil 4.

The interview is pretty lengthy at 22 questions, so be sure and check it out if you’re a Resident Evil fan. A few gems include some insight into the scrapped ability to play as a zombie in RE3 (poor Brad!), some talk about a Chinese comic where a Nemesis, G, and a Tyrant all have a battle royale, and the fact that Kawamura was brought on as a consultant for the Degeneration movie.

If you’re looking for more info on “Lost Resident Evil” games, be sure and check out community member Sir Tobbii’s excellent series.
