The Call of Duty Blog hints at content dropping on that day in honor of the Endowment initiative, so the event may follow suit. That said, the release could shift depending on how the season unfolds.
The Endowment event has become a recurring tradition in Call of Duty, including Modern Warfare 3‘s U Assist Veterans campaign.
