Actually, when 999 came out on iOS in Japan we learned it had removed the “escape the room” puzzles, so this new, $5 release isn’t a surprise. If you can’t track down the DS original, this is an okay substitute, I suppose, though people have varying opinions on how integral the puzzles are.
