999 and Zero Escape writer’s new game coming to PS4, Vita

Punch Line

What with Zero Escape not being profitable and the trilogy being put on hold, series writer and director Kotaro Uchikoshi (999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors) went and wrote an anime called Punch Line.

It has a pretty sweet poster I can’t find a bigger picture of. It’s about a ghost boy protecting his cute housemates. Also, if he sees their panties twice in a row, a meteor kills the earth. Welp.

Famitsu just wrote that Punch Line would be getting a PS4 and Vita game in Japan this winter, written by Uchikoshi himself, though it was suggested as far back as March of this year. It features different endings than the original series.
