900,000 DS units, 600,000 Wiis sold on Black Friday

It would appear that Nintendo hasn’t lost its touch despite the launch of Kinect and Move, with the company revealing bragworthy Wii and DS sales over this year’s Black Friday.

According to Nintendo, the company reckons it shifted around 900,000 DS’ and 600,000 Wiis over the most undignified day in the American calender. Nintendo encouraged the sales with a few recolors, namely the orange and green DS units and the Mario 25th anniversary Wii

Despite the gossip claiming that Nintendo is suffering from a downturn of sales, it would appear the platform holder’s doing alright.
