7,000 Post-It Notes used to make this Mario stop-motion

Pixels = square = Post-It Notes. We’ve seen 8-bit game art blown up in static form via sticky notes before, but it’s way more interesting when they’re used for stop-motion animation.

YouTuber FinalCutKing shared with us his latest creation today, seen above. He says that some 7,000 sticky squares were used around this room to bring a new kind of paper Mario to life.  The video only lasts 1.5 minutes, but I’m sure it took many hours of patient photography to make it. Nice work.

You’ll see that Pac-Man is a total dick for eating a poster, but he gets his from the Tetris blocks. And it looks like Mac keyboards have the same effect on Mario that spiny shells do.
