Mistfall Hunter is now out on PC and consoles, and the full launch version brings some key changes from the demo. While the core gameplay still looks the same, the developers have made certain changes that could feel strange at first.
In this guide, I will help you out with some important tips and tricks that will help you win more games and extract successfully to keep all your loot.

Best Mistfall Hunter tips and tricks
The seven tricks and tips that I have mentioned here don’t have any particular order. You should follow all of them as much as you can. Some of them are exclusive in the sense that you won’t always need to think about them, but the others should always be on your mind.
Pick the correct class
Mistfall Hunter comes with six different classes. We have the same number of options as we had during the demo, so you might be familiar with some of them.
Picking the correct class is crucial. All classes have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, and there is no perfect option. You should always pick something you can resonate with, and then you should consider the meta and the tier list we have made to further help you make your decision.
Don’t be afraid to change
You have made your choice and picked your first class. You realize pretty early that the play style does not suit you. Don’t be afraid to make a change by speaking with Dew. Furthermore, don’t focus too much on the meta. The meta is important, but you can thoroughly enjoy the game in your own play style. The only difference will be a few more deaths at worst, so feel free to change your class whenever you like.
Loot later, kill first
It’s always interesting when you get the loot lying in front of you. If the loot is rare, chances are that you will find something valuable in it. You will temporarily remain unable to perform any combat or movement when you are opening the loot. Hence, you should always scan the nearby areas for enemies. Even if there are basic PV minions, you should kill them first and then go for your loot.
Be a team player
When we are playing in a team, it raises your chances of success. You should always seek to have a balanced setup. For example, if your team members already have the Withered Knight and Mercenary, it’s better that you pick a class like the Seer. With the Seer, you will be able to heal your main damage dealers and ensure that your team remains alive. Going for the glory yourself might not always be fruitful when you are playing in a team.
Don’t be a hoarder
When you are starting out in Mistfall Hunter, you will get plenty of gear items. Some of those will be rarer than what you have, and hence better. While it might seem lucrative to keep them all in your storage, don’t. There are plenty of missions and quests to complete at the early game stage, and you will never run out of good gear. Going in with poorer equipment can actually reduce your chances of success. Hence, it’s better to use the best possible gear that you might have.
Prioritize loot
You can’t bring back everything you find on the battlefield with you. You have limited inventory space, so you need to prioritize what you want to return with.
My simple tip will be to go for anything that’s rare. Consumables should also be high on your priority list because they will help you survive. You can drop any poor care items that you won’t use. Only keep those that will improve your current build.
Secondly, don’t try to look in every nook and corner of a POI. You will end up with PvP players who might put an end to your efforts. Loot an area as quickly as possible, take the main prize, and go to the next one. It is also advisable that you look to extract early; otherwise the extraction area becomes a cesspool of players.
Peace is an option
It might seem quite enticing to jump in and kill the next opponent’s defense, but do remember that there might be allies nearby to come and save them. Whenever you are engaging in a fight, you are potentially taking a risk.
So far, I have managed to come across players who would avoid fighting with you. If you love PvP, you can go for the kill. However, I prefer coming back safely with my loot, and there’s plenty anyway lying away for you to gather.
