50 Cent to make Saints Row movie?

Classical musician, avant-garde filmmaker, playwright and philanthropist Fifty “50” Cent may very well be embarking upon his most daring project yet — a movie version of THQ’s philosophical videogame odyssey, Saints Row.

While talking about his upcoming interactive adventure, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, the velvet lover boasted that his relationship with THQ meant he has a good chance of making the film, a chance he’s willing to take.

“With my relationship with THQ, they’ll actually see me develop Saints Row into an actual screenplay and into a film project,” he explained. “I’m optioning the rights for that right now, so they’ll see that before they see me do it from my own perspective for my game.”

Considering Saints Row has always been about the ludicrous glorification of “gangsta” chicanery, I can see Mr. Cent actually doing a decent job of it. All the film needs is guns, swearing and hip hop music. I heard Fifty knows where to find that sh*t.
