2007: What will it bring for video games?

Recommended Videos

As we begin a new year, it’s hard not to already predict that 2007 may just be one of the best ever for gaming — in terms of quality and quantity of titles coming out. No matter what you spend your gaming hours on, there seems to be something for everyone.

Whether it’s Halo 3 or Metroid or Metal Gear Solid or Crysis or Zelda or Spore or Mario, your console or platform of choice is gonna get some major love this year. Hell, if you own everything, you might as well start that loan application process and kiss the kids goodbye. That, or find a good black-market organ service and a divorce lawyer.

So with that said, what kind of predictions do you have for this year? Any major surprises, letdowns, or time sinks on the horizon? Most importantly, will Destructoid ultimately rise above all other gaming sites and crush them under its mighty metal foot?
