Speed is a key point for CBs in FC 26, as having pace on their sleeves will allow them to fall back quicker and defend the ball well.

While speed isn’t the usual strong point of defenders, there are some pacy options to utilize. Let’s look at the twenty fastest CBs in this year’s game.

Pace in FC 26 is determined by a combination of two key factors: Acceleration and Sprint Speed. In earlier years, the weightage of Sprint Speed was higher. This year, you’ll need to pay equal respect to Acceleration.

Specific considerations have been made on this list. For starters, only defenders who are originally CB have been considered. Some players, who are originally LB/RB, can also play as CB, but I haven’t considered them.

Secondly, Heroes and Icons haven’t been included as you can’t use them in certain game modes. Ibanez and Van de Ven are the best names on the list. While there are faster options than the duo, their defensive ratings make them great choices. Some of the lower-rated options can be good choices for your Career mode saves.
