To close out its Xbox Games Showcase, Phil Spencer took to the stage to celebrate the range of first and third-party games headed to Xbox, PC, and the Xbox Game Pass platform in the coming year — Additionally, the Xbox Gaming Head revealed a new model of the Xbox Series S, launching this fall.

The Carbon Black Xbox Series S does not contain a power upgrade, but features a 1TB SSD, allowing for more software space, something that Series S owners have been complaining about for a very long time. The new hardware will launch on September 1, 2023, and will retail for $349.
