1666 Amsterdam release countdown

1666 Amsterdam goes live worldwide on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The release date was confirmed earlier by the developers, and I am not expecting any change this late. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live.

Hurry Up!

The countdown is based on the following times.

  • 1pm PDT
  • 3pm CDT
  • 4pm EDT
  • 8pm UTC
  • 9pm BST
  • 10pm CEST

Any changes before the game’s launch will be duly updated on this guide.

What to expect from 1666 Amsterdam

In 1666 Amsterdam, you play in the shoes (and paws) of Noa and Aaron. As Noa, you have to take back the power of The Originals, who have started to misuse their abilities. During the day, you’ll explore Amsterdam, but at night, you figure out what’s under the surface.

With Noa, you have witchcraft and spellcasting abilities that have been passed down through the generations. How you use them during an Esbat to fight The Originals is up to you. When you play as Aaron, you become a cat. Naturally, you have different types of power as a feline that’s not available as Noa.

Switch freely between the two to continue your adventure in the brooding world of 1666 Amsterdam. A free prologue is available on Steam that allows you to get an early taste of what the full version has to offer.
