$1 billion pledged to Kickstarter projects to date

A billion dollars in pledges to Kickstarter campaigns. What do you even say to that?

If you’re Kickstarter, you say something like this. What gets me here is that more than half of that amount was pledged within the last 12 months. And looking at the breakdown by category, approximately $215 million of the billion-dollar figure was pledged to games.

I’ve only backed two of them and so far, so good. I have yet to be burned. What about you?
