Jack Thompson not going to jail

4:58 PM on 10.25.2006   |   Brad Rice

According to Niero, who was at the scene of more Thompson drama, the judge has recused himself from the case, citing that because he has filed a complaint to the Florida bar, he feels that "I'll let Thompson be someone else's problem." Another judge is expected to hear this case in the coming days, as we don't expect Take-Two to back down. The battle in the courtroom was heated, too, as at one point, 4 police officers were summoned. Thompson was repeatedly holding up a giant posterboard sign that was angering the judge, with the judge saying "If you touch that thing one more time..." While the immediate details are fuzzy, stay tuned to Destructoid. Niero videotaped the entire thing, from when he left his house, to interviews after the court hearing. Clips will be posted relatively soon, so be ready to kill our servers!
