WoW: Cataclysm: Top player logged 149 hours in one week

Wow, that dude is crazy. In fact, all of the stats we got from Raptr on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm are pretty crazy. We already knew that the game broke sales records, selling 3.3 million copies in a day, but some of these other stats also have to be records of some sort.

Raptr says that the top 11 percent of WoW: Cataclysm players generated over 50 percent of the total playtime hours. That guy that played for 149 hours in one week (over 6 days straight!) surely helped push that number up. About a third of the overall audience plays the WoW for over 30 hours a week. What? How? Raptr’s reports say that playtime has grown five times since the summer of 2010, and now WoW beats out other games like StarCraft 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops for total playtime hours. Expansion pack brings ’em back!
