This Podtoid animation is the new best thing ever

Podtoid listener Thomas Truong (Cutie Honey on the CBlogs) made this frankly fantastic animation, taking my description of E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy and turning it into a wonderful cartoon. Jonathan Holmes, Max Scoville, Tara Long and a whole feast of in-jokes star! If you like Podtoid or E.Y.E, then this is essential viewing.

On rare and wondrous occasions, those games defy expectations ... then they take those expectations and coldly snap their necks, one by one, looking at you and smiling dispassionately the entire time.

E.Y.E is throttling your entire belief system right now, and it's glad.

Totally ridiculous facts about E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy
by Jim Sterling

E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy released very recently and I've been playing it for review. Unfortunately, the game is so deep, and its progression so random, that it might take me a while before I feel I've played enough to truly slap a score on the thing.

However, the game can't not be talked about, so I thought I'd tantalize you with a few facts about what is the weirdest, most confusing first-person-shooter I've ever seen. If you have a PC and a lot of time on your hands, this is one game you need to experience. Here are some examples why.

E.Y.E has a silly name, but looks pretty good!

StreumOnStudio’s Source-driven shooter E.Y.E may have a ludicrous name, but this cyberpunk-flavored shooter with roleplaying features might be a surprising little indie hit. We have two new trailers for the game (yanke...
