Now that we know PS3 gangster game Yakuza 3 is coming stateside, I don’t feel so bad now hearing about Japan’s new release date for Yakuza 4. Sega’s portal revealed its date, March 18, 2010, and its price, 7,980 yen ($91). For series fans, especially the ones that import the Japanese versions and poke around in them, this is good news. Q1 of 2010 is shaping up to be crazy.
I hope that everyone that wanted Yakuza 3 buys it. That way we know we’ll be in good shape for Yakuza 4. Put your money where your mouth is.
In the gallery below, you’ll see some really cool screenshots, fresh from Sega. I’m hoping to see more on the minigames sometime soon. From the sneak previews we saw at TGS, it looks like they’re going over the top with Yakuza 4.
