Xbox Game Pass is adding 13 new games

Nearly all before the end of the year

On Tuesday, Microsoft held an hour-long Inside Xbox stream that brought news of an imminent Project xCloud beta and not much else. Today, Microsoft managed to reveal more than a dozen soon-to-be additions to Xbox Game Pass in just a fraction of the time.

In the video that's embedded above, 13 games that are a part of the [email protected] program will come to Xbox Game Pass in the next few months. Some of them, like Yooka-Laylee and Minit, released long ago but are now being added to the Game Pass library. Others, like Demon's Tilt and Munchkin: Quacked Quest, hit Game Pass on their launch date.

All the games and their platforms are listed below. Notably, 12 of them will be added to Xbox Game Pass before 2019 is over; only Genesis Noir, which doesn't yet have a firm launch date, might take until 2020.

  • Munchkin: Quacked Quest (Xbox One, PC) -- Game Pass addition on launch day
  • Yooka-Laylee (Xbox One)
  • The Escapists 2 (Xbox One)
