Wonder what Crysis looks like on a $5000 Quadro graphics card?

Nothing to see here, folks

Obviously, Nvidia's Quadro M6000 is not designed for gaming. The GPU is on par with Nvidia's top-of-the-line GeForce cards, but there's that ridiculous 12 to 24 Gigs of optional ECC memory in the pants. Putting logic aside and techno-lusting hands forward: if somebody gave you one, wouldn't you want to see how fast it could run Minesweeper? Youtuber LinusTechTips was lucky enough to try it on a few programs, and just happened to have three cheapo white-collar $1,200 Pascal Titan X cards to compare. Imagine how Adventure Inlay: Safari Edition must look!

But seriously, [spoilers] the results were meh, blah, and duh - exactly what we were told. It really is just for professional graphics people pushing large files, nothing to see here. Somewhere in my heart I had hoped it was like the time that grandma said her flask was "for adults", meanwhile Pixar's janitors are playing Overwatch at 5000 frames per second after work. Anyway, now we plebeians know for sure, and your daydream of selling your wife's car for more 'flops can be put to rest. You just saved $3,646.18 by switching to Linus!
