Witness the creation of the Master Chief in Halo 4

0

The hero who had no choice

Halo 4 is less than a month away now and to hold us over is this live action launch trailer produced by David Fincher of Fight Club fame, and directed by Tim Miller of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo fame. The trailer depicts the Master Chief as he gets scanned by a key figure in Halo 4, and we get to witness how the iconic hero was created.

There's a lot going on here that will please hardcore fans such as myself. For those that don't know though, the Spartan II program involved the kidnapping of a number of children and inducted against their will into the advanced military program. Here you get to witness John (AKA the Master Chief) as he was replaced by a clone to cover for the kidnapping, and physically altered in a number of ways to become the savoir of humanity.

Halo 4 will be out on November 6, 2012 for the Xbox 360.
