Destructoid’s own Extra Life 24 hour gaming marathon is only four days away!  On October 16, Dtoid staff and community will streaming 24 hours of solid gaming. From the retro stylings of NES games, to modern games like Just Dance 2 and Halo: Reach, we have a great schedule of awesome gaming for you to check out on our Justin.tv stream!Â

Not only are we going to be entertaining you guys for 24 hours, but we will also be giving away some prizes! All that we ask is that you donate to our Extra Life cause by going to this donation link.  Until the day of the marathon, I will be showcasing a couple of the stuff that we have to give away to you all, starting with todays entry!
Thanks to our friends at Sega, we have a pack of awesome stuff shown above. Â There are FIVE Limited Edition Ryo Hazuki figurines to give away. Not only that, but Sega has given us some cool gaming t-shirts as well, from games such as Alpha Protocol, Madworld, and Phantasy Star 0!
The exact details of how to win these prizes will be spelt out for you during the marathon, but what we do ask is that if you are planning on watching the stream, or entering for prizes, that you donate! The proceeds for Extra Life will be going to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, and thats ALWAYS cool!
