Why do the Umbrella Corps look like Transformers?

Bumblebee, roll out!

Capcom is releasing the squad shooter Umbrella Corps next month, which takes place within the Resident Evil universe. There's some cool looking things about it (a heated scythe melee weapon?) and some not cool looking things about it (read: most of it), but this new video showcases an Antarctic stage, which draws inspiration from Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

I'm not sure who this game is for, but I'll give it a shot. Hopefully it'll be better than the abysmal Operation Raccoon City, and the multiplayer co-op looks promising.
