Whatcha been playing this week, Destructoid?

Time is on my side, yes it is (except it isn’t)

HEATWAVE. Hoo boy, it has been scorchio in Blighty this week. My sensitive goth skin has been hiding indoors to stay out of the harmful rays of a jolly sun. This may or may not have coincided with our government’s intolerably stupid decision to drop all COVID-19 mandates, rules, and regulations… right as the cases started spiking again. Idiots. Anyway, it is the weekend, so welcome to Whatcha Been Playing? I really hope that all of you have a great one and stay hydrated and very very cool. Don’t Melt!

I have spent this week having a few fun hours on ININ shmup Cotton Reboot! and Dotemu’s excellent DLC Streets of Rage 4: Mr. X Nightmare. But, for the most part, my week has been taken up crunching the stunningly beautiful RPG, Cris Tales, now available on PC and consoles from publisher Modus Games. It’s a very emotional and attractive adventure, filled with gorgeous, sweeping women who I wish I looked like, instead of being an ugly boy. Keep an eye out for my full review, coming very soon as well as my full thoughts on Acid Nerve’s literal death-defying adventure, Death’s Door.

Before that, I’d be ever so pleased if you would take a few seconds to jump into the comments and share with us the video games that you’ve been enjoying this week. It means a lot that you take time out from your valuable weekend to interact with both us and each other. As long as I am here at Destructoid — and y’all keep turning up — Whatcha Been Playing? will continue. It’s a real highlight of my week and a testament to the greatest gaming community going… That’s you, obviously.

Have a wonderful weekend, from all of us at Destructoid.
