Watch Inafune playtest dashing in Mighty No. 9

New alpha footage also shows the death animation

As a follow-up to this morning's talk of new Mighty No. 9 gameplay details, here's footage of Comcept's Keiji Inafune trying out a work-in-progress build of the game. The video showcases Beck's dash ability, his (placeholder) death animation, and a background test.

It's starting to come together, certainly. My favorite part has got to be Inafune's delightful reactions. "This is Fun!" "I'm extremely satisfied." "What a sad way to go!"
