Video: Hundreds of pale limbs playing Pokemon Go in the park

The Squirtle. The humanity.

Pokémon Go is definitely getting people laid, despite that the game is broken (and rubbish). Still, we can't stop playing it. What's a guy to do with a phone full of dull Rattata? (sigh) If you're a hopeless trainer like me you'll understand the appeal of what went down. The video caption reads: "When Squirtle appeared in a corner of Downtown Park, in Bellevue, WA, hundreds of Pokémon Go fans people who don't make eye contact rushed to catch it."

Doesn't it look like the start of a concert in the park? Chuck totally called it years ago. Video games are the new Rock and Roll, complete with the elbow jabbing for the best spot in the open field. And this jerk:

More of the carnage can be seen here, via Kotaku:

I'll leave the jokes and captions for our brilliant comments, but before we do that let's ponder how all the business-faced executive jerkmounds must be salivating at the sight of such a video. "We're going to sell all the Jamba Juice we've ever wanted at last!" While I'm loving the cultural significance of a video game crushing all other forms of media I'm also watching in horror. 2016 is the year that everything that could possibly go wrong has. Hopefully we can continue to enjoy games like this before somebody does something dumb and reminds the government why we can't have nice things.
